We went to Sedona today just took a few pictures it was too crowded to walk around the town and no place to park. Flagstaff is in the 80s a welcome relief from Tucson's 105+ days. Tomorrow morning we are heading to Durango CO.
We are finally on the road again after a long month in Tucson. The window came in it was warped. They installed a second one also the window was redesigned to get rid of the rattling and the whistle. It was a plesant drive today to Flagstaff where the temperature is in the 80s. We averaged 12.6 mpg before turning on the generator and hitting some mountains. We will stay here 2 nights before heading on to Durango on monday. Tomorrow we plan on driving to Sedona and will take some photos and post them
We went up to Mt. Lemmon last weekend and rode the chair lift to the top. It was 68 degrees a welcome relief from 100+ degrees in Tucson. They had a wildfire in 2003 and the area has not recovered much in 9 years. I hope Bastrop fairs better. We are going to be here for at least another week as the window won't arrive until next friday. We will have been here for a month.
We are still camped at LazyDays RV waiting for parts and a couple of approvals for work to be done. Probably another week or more before we get to move on. Fortunately today is cooler about 90 degrees.
Carl says it's hotter in Tucson! Carl found another cooler spot to lay. The weather says 105 degrees, car temp says 115 degrees driving on the streets. Either way it's HOT!
We are in Tucson, az at Lazy Days RV having some warranty repair work done before the warranty expires. I highly recommend them for any RV repair. They are really professional. The only problem it is hot! 106 degrees! We can't wait to get somewhere cooler but we may be here for 10 days waiting for warranty parts to arrive. We like it enough that we may winter here.
