More Balloons, Oscar the Park Cat of Tucalota RV Park in Sage, CA
Every day, anymore, is a hot air balloon festival in Temecula, CA. This morning we had 12 balloons; one landed a couple hundred feet from our motorhome. Earlier this week, a balloon landed on our homesite, about one mile from the RV park.
Oscar the RV park cat spends much time at our RV tormenting Carl our cat.

Malibu, CA
Yesterday we drove to Malibu's Paradise Cove where The Rockford Files' Jim Rockford (James Garner) lived on the beach in a trailer. Other shows such as Gidget and Sea Hunt were filmed there as well. It was gorgeous. Traffic in was OK but big delays going back to Sage, CA.

Amgen Tour of California Bike Race
Today is the second leg of the AMGEN Tour of California Bike Race. They came past the entrance to our RV Park. A number of the riders have ridden in the Tour De France. There was a 4 bike break away that was about 9 minutes ahead of the main pack after an hour of racing. The weather is hotter than normal highs expected to be 105degrees. Here's the address to the race http://www.amgentourofcalifornia.com/#2

Temecula, CA Hot Air Balloons
This morning a hot air balloon landed in our RV park. We are building a winter home on the pictured 4.61 acres in Hemet; hope the house is built by June 2013. Our neighbors tell us that the Temecula hot air balloons take off every morning; we are looking forward to watching that from our front porch that Jim will screen-in for Carl our cat.

Temecula, CA
Yesterday we rode the high hills of Temecula and Aguanga. The temperature was in the 80s. Spring is here. The roads were a little sandy but not a problem. The views were gorgeous; the riding fun.
