Sport Bikes

We are having perfect riding weather.  Yesterday we rode to Oak Glen, CA, the local apple country, and home through Hemet.

Construction on our home in CA's Temecula Valley is slow.  Now the hold-up is getting the engineer's plan for the carport/breezeway that will attach the RV garage to the house.  The stucco base coat is on the house but no color yet.  We've been enjoying the perfect biking weather.  Yesterday we rode our sport bikes to Borrego Springs and we rode our dual sports on the local dirt trails two days before.

San Clemente, CA

Yesterday, in search of Richard Nixon's ghost, we rode The Ortega to San Clemente with Rose and Bob Press.  Rose is riding her new Ninja; like Jim's but white in color.  Being Sunday, we saw lots of other bikes on The Ortega and around Perris.  So far, San Clemente is one of our favorite beach spots between LA and San Diego.

Cardiff By The Sea

We've been really enjoying touring southern California on our new sport bikes.  Here's a picture from a ride we took with our soon-to-be neighbors Rose and Bob Press who, like us, ride a Honda and Kawasaki.

Bikes

We got sport bikes yesterday.  Jim got a Ninja and Joellen got a Repsol.  We can't wait to start touring southern CA starting with the beach, Idyllwild and Mt. Palomar.  We will still ride dirt bikes and look forward to switching between the two riding styles.

Vail Lake Temecula, CA

Yesterday we rode our dirt bikes and found some new trails off of our street that provide great views of Vail Lake.
