One Less Live Mouse

Carl went three houses away and found an apparent mouse nest.  He captured a youngster and brought it all the way home to under the porch where he played with his prize until its demise; and then some.

Weather in Pendaries is Great

8 Month Clock Started

First concrete pour today! Footings being poured so the house will be completed on or before January 8 2021. 

Jim's Happiest Day of the Year

Yesterday afternoon New Mexico approved opening golf courses so Pendaries Golf opens this morning at 8 am MT.  The course will be limited today to just the front 9 holes as approval to open came as a surprise with just a few hours notice to ready the course.  Here's Jim heading out with his new driver; today he gets to tryout his new putter too.  Life is good.

Carl's 9th Birthday

Here's yesterday's birthday Carl waiting patiently to go outside, squinting in the sun and laying in the middle of the street showing visitor cat who is boss.  Carl playfully chased visitor cat a bit never attacking nor making actual contact.  Visitor cat might be the same white-chested visitor cat from last year and relative of other park cats who seem pretty tame and healthy.

Carl continues to be healthy, happy and the boss of us.  We got Carl a floppy fish for his birthday.  Carl spends a couple/few hours a day outside so loving our hikes in the Pendaries woods.

Excavation in Pendaries Village, Rociada, NM

Excavation started this week for our Pendaries home, or Garage Mahal (16' tall garage underneath a one-bedroom with office and yoga loft fox block bunker built halfway underground).
