SoCal House For Sale

Here's our house in Sage, CA as pictured in our real estate sales listing.  We like the house and living in SoCal a lot.  But since we are building a new home in Pendaries Village, Rociada, NM, it does not make sense to keep our SoCal house.

Four Cats

Here, in the foreground, are Pendaries neighbors Allie and Lucky with Carl in the background.  Carl has such a good time with the neighbor cats (plus Annie, Lucky's mom, pictured separately in chair).  This was Carl's last Pendaries walk of the year; tomorrow we leave for SoCal.

More Snow Today

Looking out our motorhome's window, we are watching snow, wind, sun, more snow ...

First Snow of the 2019/2020 Winter Season in Pendaries

Here's the view yesterday from the steps of our motorhome.

And here's the view from the Pendaries Golf course across the street; our RV site is in the snowy mountain across the street.

Pendaries Village, Mountain Community and Golf Resort

Here's Jim meeting with surveyor Jude and architect Jon on our Pendaries Village property along with our view across the street.  Our topographic survey is done; later this week we will get the first draft of our home's schematic design.  Jon's been directed to design our home's floor plan around the giant pines.  We expect to break ground March 1st and hopefully be in our home about a year from now.

Rainy Day Deer

Here we were being visited by three large deer yesterday.  We spent most of the day inside our motorhome as we got .75" of rain.  Pendaries deer are used to people frequenting the RV park, village and golf course.

Hermit's Peak, NM

We went on a great dual-sport ride this morning; from Rociada to Sapello to San Ignacio into the Santa Fe Nat'l Forest then on to Mora and back to Pendaries.  It was perfect riding weather.  You know you are dressed right when you start out chilly then warm by the time you return home.
