Winter on its way

A few days ago our mountains-in-view got their first coat of snow. Yeah! Yesterday we enjoyed what's possibly our last outdoor outing at the 19th Hole and first wood stove fire of the season. Monday our generator arrives so come on winter.

Our Little Girl Deer; Total Gym

We have a new family member.  Our little girl deer arrives every morning and spends the day under our porch escaping the full sun.  Carl and deer stare at each other through the porch slats.  And, see our new Total Gym.  Pretty soon we will be looking like Chuck Norris and Christie Brinkley.

Chipmunk

Here's Carl in our screened-in porch.  The chipmunks have taken over.  Chipmunks are prolific and giant sized here.  We are so proud of Carl,

Wild Hail Storm

Calving

I watched this cow give birth in the pasture adjoining Pendaries Village.  This is the birthing season.  We drive through this pasture to get out in and out of Pendaries and enjoy seeing hundreds of cows.

Snow

We've had some gorgeous snow falls since moving into our new house on March 2021; during turkey mating season!  See Joellen shoveling 2 feet deep snow.
