This week I've been working on building our motorcycle carrier with swivel wheels.
I have a few more days of fabrication with Pat Gordon Welding before i can test it for towing. I've been working with Pat to teach him the plasma cam and have had to troubleshoot some problems with the unit. I think we have fixed the problems and only have a few more parts to cut on the plasmacam. I'll post pictures when it is done. jm

March 12th 2012
We have lived in the RV about for 6 months and are adapting and enjoying it. We are trying to tie up loose ends so we can get on the road. My wife's last day of work is the 15th of march. Our target date is to be on the road the end of march or 1st of april. Saturday we had to put down one of our 2 cats. He had kidney failure.

An Ending and a New Beginning
Sunday September 4th 2011 was the day our world changed forever. The GREAT BASTROP WILDFIRE IN CENTRAL TEXAS came to town. We managed to get our two cats and left. As we drove out of our neighborhood we expected to be back the next day. It wasn't to be our house and everything we owned was gone. Long story short we ended up buying and living in a RV.
So our new life begins and this blog is about this new life.
